A student receiving a diploma from Twin Valley High School will meet or exceed all of the following expectations. These expectations are the building blocks behind the graduation requirements of TVHS and are the schools contract with parents and students regarding the essential parts of every students education. 10.0 ART APPRECIATION AND ARTISTIC COMPETENCY
The TVHS graduate demonstrates a basic competency, understanding of and appreciation of a variety of arts. Art forms include but are not limited to music, drama, dance, writing and visual art such as paint, plaster, textiles, wood and metals
Conveys artistic intent from creator to viewer or listener
Critiques own and others works in progress, both individually and in groups to improve upon intent
Demonstrates basic knowledge of exemplary works in the arts from a variety of cultures and historical periods
Uses a minimum of two art forms to communicate
