| The ultimate goal of this course is to make students more comfortable speaking in front of others. This course will not necessarily make students perfect presenters, but rather the object is to teach them techniques to help them increase their confidence and comfort level when they must speak in front of a class or to a large group of people. | ||
There are two key sides to speaking in front of any group: Preparation and Delivery |

| The activities in this course are designed to help improve both of these aspects. Some activities may include: | ||

| It is important for students to know that their grade will be dependent on their impromptu participation as well as their larger formal presentations; therefore attendance and class participation are a necessity for success in this course. | ||
| In addition, students have a voice in the types of speeches and activities the class undertakes, so activities change according to student interests. | ||
